  • H&S check of the premises – in line with guidance – including, water/legionella.
  • Cleaning/hygiene arrangements enhanced in line with government guidelines including: lidded bins, availability of soap and hot water in every toilet, sanitising wipes for cleaning of equipment, hand sanitiser, tissues (and disposal – double-bagging and emptying), following the ‘Catch it, Bin it, Kill it’ principles for the disposal of tissues.
  • Frequency of cleaning and agreed protocols.
  • Reduce possible contact between football groups and between football and cricket groups including consideration of:
  • contact during training;
  • staggered times for arrival/departure (see section 4);
  • no use of changing rooms;
  • social distancing in club house (or use for toilets only); system to keep regularly used doors in an open position
  • Signage at entrances/exits to indicate any changes to access
  • Minimise number of resources and furniture etc. to enable cleaning
  • Site with signage to indicate physical distancing instructions, including floor markings, indicators, one-way routes etc.
  • Generally observe latest government & FA guidelines.
  • All of the above to be discussed and agreed with Cricket Committee to ensure alignment of approach (particularly during September when the site is shared)

TRAINING

Usually takes place on Saturday mornings. To reduce risk and clashing with cricket:

  • Footballers to leave site by 11am saturdays.
  • Consider use of the Rec
  • Spread the sessions out across the site.
  • Consider use of far end of mini pitch for parking
  • Use mid-week evening sessions to spread the number of attendees

MATCHES (Saturday)

Usually commence at 2pm and usually only one match. Above protocols to be followed including: no use of changing rooms; no / limited use of clubhouse; parking at far end of mini-pitch.

MATCHES (Sundays)

Both the county and mini pitch will have fixtures on each Sunday.

The county pitch may have 2 fixtures to accommodate. The site should be vacated by 2pm.

The mini pitch will have up to 2 matches to accommodate. The mini pitch should be clear by 1pm.

Above protocols to be followed including: no use of changing rooms; no / limited use of clubhouse.

  • Remind all to follow government recommendations when travelling e.g. avoid use of public transport where possible but where this isn’t possible follow government guidelines regarding face coverings, physical distancing etc.

  • Parent/carer / emergency contact contacted instantly.
  • Adult to ensure PPE (facemask, gloves, apron and goggles) is put on themselves before interacting with the child.
  • If a club official has helped someone with symptoms, they do not need to go home unless they themselves display symptoms.
  • Wash hands thoroughly and thoroughly clean the area where the child has been.
  • Advise parent/carer to seek testing immediately following government guidance upon receipt of result
